practice along with the farmers and
chocolate manufacturers. After these
shows were aired, many British
consumer groups demanded that the
chocolate producers cease using
chocolate that had been produced with
slave labor. However, the chocolate
producers purchase their chocolate
from international exchanges and the
Ivory Coast cocoa is mixed with the
cocoa from other countries so it is not
possible to tell which is produced by
slave labor.
